En este marco, generar espacios de intercambio entre docentes de distintos niveles educativos y de diferentes pa\u00edses constituye una oportunidad valiosa para enriquecer las pr\u00e1cticas de ense\u00f1anza, visibilizar estrategias pedag\u00f3gicas efectivas y reflexionar colectivamente sobre problem\u00e1ticas comunes.<\/p>\n<p>El presente taller surge con el prop\u00f3sito de promover un di\u00e1logo internacional entre docentes de nivel secundario y profesores universitarios de Argentina y de los Estados Unidos, favoreciendo la construcci\u00f3n de redes de colaboraci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica en torno a la ense\u00f1anza de la matem\u00e1tica. A trav\u00e9s de la socializaci\u00f3n de experiencias, el an\u00e1lisis de contextos diversos y la discusi\u00f3n abierta entre pares, se busca fortalecer una mirada inclusiva, motivadora e innovadora sobre la educaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, la propuesta procura contribuir a la articulaci\u00f3n entre niveles educativos, reconociendo que el intercambio entre quienes ense\u00f1an matem\u00e1tica en la escuela media y en la universidad permite identificar continuidades, desaf\u00edos y oportunidades de mejora en los procesos de ense\u00f1anza y aprendizaje. En este sentido, el taller no solo se concibe como un encuentro puntual, sino tambi\u00e9n como el punto de partida para futuras instancias de cooperaci\u00f3n e internacionalizaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The teaching of mathematics today faces complex challenges linked to the diversity of educational contexts, the heterogeneous academic trajectories of students, the need to foster motivation for learning, and the strengthening of academic self-confidence. Within this framework, creating spaces for exchange among educators from different educational levels and various countries constitutes a valuable opportunity to enrich teaching practices, highlight effective pedagogical strategies, and collectively reflect on common challenges.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This workshop has been designed with the aim of fostering an international dialogue between secondary school teachers and university professors from Argentina and the United States, thereby facilitating the development of academic collaborative networks centered on mathematics education. Through the sharing of experiences, the analysis of diverse contexts, and open peer-to-peer discussion, the initiative seeks to reinforce an inclusive, motivating, and innovative perspective on mathematics education.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Furthermore, this proposal endeavors to contribute to the articulation between different educational levels, recognizing that dialogue between those who teach mathematics in secondary schools and those in universities allows for the identification of continuities, challenges, and opportunities for improvement within teaching and learning processes. Se requiere experiencia docente en nivel secundario o superior y la apertura al trabajo colaborativo en entornos virtuales.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>Interest in teaching mathematics and willingness to participate in an international academic exchange are required. Directora del Proyecto de Investigaci\u00f3n PICE \u201cCambiando la f\u00f3rmula: Estrategias para una educaci\u00f3n matem\u00e1tica inclusiva, equitativa y de calidad.\u201d y codirectora del proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n PIUNT \u201cModelos h\u00edbridos y <em>engagement<\/em> educativo en la ense\u00f1anza del C\u00e1lculo en una Facultad de Econom\u00eda\u201d. Se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 en cargos de gesti\u00f3n en el \u00e1mbito universitario y fue directora de becas estudiantiles y docente gu\u00eda. Actualmente ejerce tambi\u00e9n la consultor\u00eda a Empresas en el \u00e1mbito de impuestos, contabilidad y auditor\u00eda para personas humanas y peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas en Tucum\u00e1n, Argentina.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Rachel Orgel<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><em>Rachel Orgel holds a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Education from the University of Florida (FL), as well as a Master&#8217;s degree and a Doctorate in Education (FL). She currently serves as a Mathematics Curriculum Specialist Instructor for Montgomery County Public Schools (MD). She also serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Florida\u2019s Ed.D program. Her teaching experience includes roles as a Staff Development Teacher (Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary, Germantown, MD), Special Education LAD Teacher (Beverly Farms Elementary, Potomac, MD, and Capt. James Daly Elementary, Germantown, MD), Special Education Resource Teacher (Red House Run Elementary, Baltimore, MD), General Studies Teacher (Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, Rockville, MD), and Second Grade Inclusion Teacher (Minnieville Elementary, Woodbridge). She has authored publications and delivered presentations in international journals and at international conferences.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sean Gruber holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in secondary education &amp; mathematics, master\u2019s in curriculum and instruction, and PhD in mathematics education (teaching and learning, policy and leadership), each from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). Sean has spent the last three years as a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at UMCP.
